Stunning film, kept on thinking about it afterwards is very well done. It has a great story and alot of characters to listen to and to be apart of there on going journey through this film. This film is not your every day war film if your mainly a action fan and its all you want to see, I say go some where else because this film is about your thoughts and the scenary and music that was made with the film just gives great depth in detail with characters, if there was one film i would tell people to see it would be this one. Theres a great cast of actors in this film which pop in now and then. The two great performances are by James Caviezel and Sean Penn and also Nick Nolte does have a great role as the commander in such dramatic period of leading the men. Please watch this film!

This film was up against Saving Private Ryan, its just as good, This time we follow the war to the Pacfic where James Caviezel gives the performance of his life time. the stunning scenery and the whole meaning of this epic time is the reasons why this film is one of the greatist of its time. It shows the struggle of the pacific, where most of the men died of neumonia, water diseases and dehydration not to mention being blown up every 5 minutes. It was the toughest battles in the war and the actors capture that essence and light brilliantly. Sean Penn is thrilling as his character shows curage and struggle at the same time, John Cusack has a heroic moment as he destorys the Japanise bunkers so the American Army can fight throught the boundries of the fleet. A turely remarkable film and deserved more credit than what it got, a must see if a True War film hero.

The Thin Red Line is a masterpiece. Ironically this war movie is not about how a battle was won or lost, but rather about what is going through a soldier's mind while in the face of certain death. Excellent directing and score. Some acting was faulty, example George Clooney's appearance at the end of the film. 96/100
