Silly but enjoyable, good title song, good cast. Makes one wonder whether anyone really lived like Frank's character did in New York City in 1955

Great movie. Interesting to see that not much has changed in the world of dating in your 30's and living in NYC since this movie took place in 1955

Just saw this on television today. I love movies of the 40's, 50's and some of the 60's movies. "The Tender Trap" is a well done piece of the 50's. Frank Sinatra plays a playboy in Manhattan (really, Frank a playboy?), who has a young lady for every night of the week, but falls for one that he winds up not able to have (Julie, played well by Debbie Reynolds).

I love Debbie Reynolds and Frank Sinatra, but the story of a womanizer and a "silly" woman who's only objective in life is to get married, is a frustrating watch by today's more liberal standards.
