The Summer of Sangaile has its flaws, those magical clichés, LGBT-infested film, and the fact that the characters aren't that interesting, but it does make up a great adaption to watch.

Kavaïté portrays the doubts one can have with love at a certain age without forcing any type of drama on the viewer. Not an easy thing to do. [Full review in Spanish]

The most wonderful film ,I'm a big fan of the film Sangaile, I admire everything bit about it, Julija Steponaityte and Aiste Dirziute acting is absolutely stunning, the cinematography is breathtaking and the music is so very lovely... such a astonishing, gorgeous film! as it's one of my most favourite films

Distractingly lovely to look at, the film can't make Sangaile's struggles or triumphs matter. Its soaring conclusion feels anticlimactic, the story drifting off into air.
