Hedy Lamarr is so irresistible and twisted in the movie that fulls it completely.

Atmospheric and moody, with a good pace. Hedy Lamarr is well cast and the supporting cast is very good, especially George Sanders. Good score, nice sets. Certainly one of Edgar G Ulmer's best directoral efforts.
