a film that strips away the cliches of high school romance films and just perfectly tells a very very genuine story.

Best depiction of teens I've seen but I'm only 15 but I feel like this is what is happening now. Shailene brings an Oscar worthy performance as does Miles.

A beautiful and thoughtful film which weighs heavy emotionally, but is still funny enough and likable enough to keep from being a downer. I'm reminded in many ways of Perks of Being a Wallflower, in that it tells a coming of age tale about a young man with real problems. The characters are enormously developed, and kept enthralling by impeccable performances from all parties. That no one is talking about this movie is a crime.

I love this movie. Its not your traditional high school romance. its a great and realistic coming of age. Miles Teller was phenomenal, he really makes the movie.
