Actually not that bad, considering it was featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Obviously much better with the MST3k commentary.

Cheesy and hilarious from begining to end. The most infamous begining from movie history, but also a surprising end.

This film mainly suffered from very slow pacing, a cliched plot, and the climax, though having potential to be scary, was instead laughable (reminiscent of the scene in Ed Wood when Bela Lugosi wrestles with a half-inflated octopus in shallow water). One of the best parts about this movie, however, is the unique promo, warning that the film is so scary that it might kill you. Though, honestly, you're more apt to die from boredom than fright.

I would have loved to have been alive in the '50s. I adore gimmicks, you see, and this one offers free coffins. There was one moment where a skeleton floats out if a wardrobe; I was running for the door, it scared the bejeesus out of me. Otherwise it's a bit sloow

AT the beginning of the movie the producers offer you a free coffin for your funeral if you die from frieght after watching this movie. Well, this movie was sooo boring, not at all scary, but I never thought that the husband would turn out to be the bad guy.
