Unless you've watched this on IMAX 3D you might not have liked it. This is the best King Kong movie that I've seen... I haven't felt this excited since watching King Kong back in '91 as a 4 year old for the first time. Everything is awesome in this movie, the pacing is frantic, visuals and audio are great, one of the best monster movies ever!!!

Here's how to make a good Monster movie in the 21st century. The plot works, there is a breakout and there is something to look at. I would like more such films.

Fantastic movie, with its comic-book feel, and the combination of historical elements (the vietnam war). The movie doesn't fear killing any of the main characters, and clearly this has potential for a sequel. Well choreographed, directed, and executed. Highly recommended!

A pretty cool and enojoyable monster-kaiju movie, nothing more and nothing less than that. this is not about imitating the Peter Jackson version, this is his own thing, and in that aspect it succeeds.
