When I saw this on cable in the 80's, I thought it was an awesome flick. Kurt Russell, Andy Garcia and Mariel Hemingway, who was on a roll after "Personal Best" and "Star 80". Unfortunately, watching it again almost 25 years later did not pack the same punch. Kinda sucky, dull and cliche...

I always like Kurt Russell. He sure did some hard running in this for one scene. Whenever I watch older movies I always like chuckle to myself over the technology. How big things are or how they used tape players to record phone conversations and the way they had the wires taped to the phone. It's interesting on how much the police had to depend on people back then to catch a killer.

Serial Killers before serial killers was cool. Russell is very good, Hemingway is too, but their chemistry could be better. The villian is excellent
