When four college students trek to the Everglades to conduct extra-credit research for their biology professor, they become prey to a huge man-eating eel with nasty incisors that's been terrorizing a nearby Florida community, based on a true story concerning an exotic species of eels that are released in the southeast from Asia. Crappy crap with a stock musical score and horrible acting..features the goofy kid from The Rocket getting munched. A cool looking creature and some messy gore slightly alleviate the agony.

This is based on real land walking eels, but the movie exaggerated of course. The CGI made the eel look ridiculous but the movie was fun anyways. The outhouse scene was gross.

That was the best Sc-Fi horror monster move Flick I had ever seen. Great CGI Monster they did and the Subspence was great. Great twist ending, wished they made a sequel.
