The epitome of adventure films as well as great acting, The Man Who Would Be King is a masterpiece. Caine and Connery lead the show and Huston (who ironically also directed the Treasures of Sierra Madre) brings out the characters, revealing how men can fall to greed.

Absolutely cracking! Great, awesome for soundbites - shame the synopsis on the right is wrong!

The movie, which was shot in Morocco, looks lovely and remote (how did we ever once settle for those black-and-white Hollywood hills?) and has just enough romantic nonsense in it to enchant the child in each of us.

Fantastic film of two conmen who find adventure and friendship on the rim of the British empire. A must see

Absolute legendary film. One of Huston's and cinematographies greatest achievements...
