good cast but the director lost the run of himself

It's the performances of Roth and O'Connell (and that of Peter Mullan as their imposing boss) that I want to highlight here.

This just about scrapes 3 stars. It is fairly predicatable but enjoyable, the plot weakened as the film progressed and the ending was abit wankish. Tim Roth is the balls but one felt the normally excellent Peter Boyle was way over the top in his small role. A serious twitch off Talulah Riley.
