65/100. Jeff Bridges is terrific and very convincing in the lead role. The story has very uneven pacing and jumps around through various subplots a little too often. Good supporting cast and the theme song by Jim Croce was a big hit at the time. Really well edited and the cinematography is quite good. It's a good film, just isn't as thrilling as it could have been.

Decent, but not spectacular, car-racing movie. Solid enough plot and direction. Just lacks something special. Doesn't seem overly profound, or engaging. Good performance from Jeff Bridges in the lead role.

Good cast, but not so interesting story of moonshine runner turned race car driver. I only watched this because William Smith had a supporting role and he wasn't in it nearly enough.

After a fumbling start which looks like bad editing for TV, The Last American Hero settles into some good, gritty, family Southern Americana.
