This is a very interesting true story. I wouldn't consider this a comedy, but it does have laughter thanks to some of the hilarious lines said by Maggie Smith, who just shines as the lead Miss Shepherd. She is the main reason to watch this film and is entertaining with her co-star Alex Jennings who plays the real Alan Bennett. Also the real Alan Bennett wrote the screenplay for this film. The story can be a bit tricky to follow and there are quite a bit of heavy, dramatic scenes in the film. It also ends in a predictable, but unusual way. The main reason to see this film is for just two words. Maggie Smith! My grade=90%(A-).

We saw the lady in the van yesterday it was worth seeing it once or a lot of times? Maggie smith really played her part in the movie really well it's sad how old age isn't looking good?
