On his latest expedition, has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his crack-smart research assistant Holly and redneck survivalist Will into a world populated by marauding dinosaurs and painfully slow creatures called Sleestaks. This is one of my top funny movies, i am a Will Ferrell fan anyway but this was brilliant! stupid when we needed stupidness, funny when we needed funniness, and big dinos when we needed them. the comedy acting was superb and the entire cast was tip top. why this only has 27% ill never know. lighting directing costume makeup all top marks. special effects where a treat for the eyes. overall, i'd be happy to get lost in this land. respect the Ferrell!

I can watch this movie everyday and literally laugh like I've never seen it before. I absolutely love this movie. Once again the cast - Ferrell & McBride = perfection. I am not saying this movie isn't stupid, silly and a bit tacky.. but that's what makes it PERFECT.

Re-watched this, and I gotta say it's funnier today than when it came out. I think maybe the humour of today has aligned with the humour of this movie.
