The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks will resonate with audiences as a story of major loss and finding something worthwhile to hold onto despite it.

Watched thia and have to say I was disappointed in one way -- The book was also an amazing eye opener of a story of racism in medicine. It had a lot more about Henrietta, but this movie focused more on how losing their mother destroyed the children's lives. I found it a worthwhile watch, but the book is one on my all time lists.
