caught this on HBO ... true story of a black lab technician and his surgeon partner who basically pioneer the field of cardiac surgery; the racial tensions of the era and the divide between the white surgeon and black assistant ... wonderfully portrayed by Mos Def and Alan Rickman;

I absolutely LOVE Mos Def and I think he was so awesome in this movie. It shows how perserverance takes you a long way! I love it.

Great movie. Alan Rickman is amazing because you love and hate him in the movie and Mos Def really demonstrates his acting abilities.

An excellent movie with great perfomances from Alan Rickman and Mos Def. Based on a true story. Doesn't seem to have been a success but well worth seeing non the less. A top 10 vote for this one.
