i don't know what to say... it's not a horror or a thriller... it's odd and i liked it.

I got a chance to catch four of the eight horrorfest films of last year in the theatre, the others I caught on DVD when they were released earlier this year. I did not, however, get a chance to watch "The Hamiltons", the only one I had yet to see. So I finally was able to watch it and let me tell you...I loved it. With the films being invovled in this festival being great (this one) to good ("Wicked Little Things") to terrible ("Dark Ride") I was glad I saved the best for last. With a truly surprising twist at the end of this movie (and I'm not talking about what's in the box, I mean the twist before that) I was glad to have finally watched it.

It started off a bit like texas chainsaw massacre so i prepared myself for a copycat movie. Boy did this turn out differently, actually it made me sick to my stomach and i loved it. The family has a disease which it has no control off. The disease will either destroy the family or keep the family alive.

This one is definately worth it to rent or own. 1 or the 8 Movies to Die For, this one has a new take on an old theme, but will keep you guessing until the end.
