"Do you have to film everything?" That's the opening line of dialogue in The Gracefield Incident, the first feature film from Mathieu Ratthe, which, over the course of 90 minutes, never properly answers that question.

Seriously bad. And Mathieu Ratthe is a terrible actor

Roger Moore 17 Jul 2017

The acting isn’t terrible, though the script at times makes the players seem that way.

Although this film did not have the best aciting performances or an original plot, it made up for this by keeping me thrilled (never a dull moment) and being above average scary all the way through to the end. If you are looking for extremely high special effects do not watch this film. If special effects that are better than the fake looking "the asylum's " knock off blockbuster films would work for you then watch this movie.

The Gracefield Incident sports some impressive special effects in key scenes, but remains yet another found-footage thriller where the dialogue feels phony, the nonscary action is tedious and the images are artless. The angle may be different, but we’ve seen this before.
