Ritchie's return to the crime caper flicks that made him a household name is essentially what you expect. Well acted, talky, and a lot less smarter than it actually is. Its biggest weakness is that Ritchie has always tried to emulate Tarantino's style and his mixed up timeline, but never really getting it right. It took such a long time setting things up that I literally got bored on its first half. After that though, things started to move at a more brisk clip, with a pretty good finale to wrap things up. A good watch, but nothing new here.

This is a fun gangster movie full of twists and turns. Hugh Grant is so good as the slimy reporter. For me this is a one and done. Not much replay value this. This is all about the fun reveals. This takes me back to when movies are just fun and not preachy.

Guy Ritchie makes wacky fun movies and the GENTLEMAN is another in the great movie making FUN that Ritchie produces! I loved it and was surprised a number of times by the great way Ritchie gives and takes info into scenes! The Actors were all GREAT The ACTORS are all FANTASTIC! Expand

May not be enjoyable for all audiences, regardless of that it is an amazing cast and directing! Could watch it over and over again and genuinely get a kick out of it.

An enjoyable movie with the same gangster humor as Snatch & Lock Stock 2 smoking barrels. Might not quite be as good as those but definitely hits a lot of beats.
