Annie and Darren have been married for seven years, and they love each other as much as the day they were wed; they're affectionate, have fun together, and enjoy games such as crossword puzzle races. They would seem to have a perfect relationship, except for one thing -- they haven't had sex in ages, and seem to have lost all interest in making love with one another, no matter how they try to put each other in the mood. Hoping to put some adventure back into their lives, Annie and Darren come up with an unusual idea -- they each get one night in which they're free to find someone and have sex with them, scot-free. But is this going to help their relationship, or is it just going to turn a small problem into a big problem?

The moral of the story: do not act on your fantasies! And it proved that men are kind of idiots and women would do almost anything to please them...

Love's fragile intangibles rarely feel so visible. Viewers with a wandering eye may feel like they've gotten something out of their system.

The Freebie was a very short and simple movie without any bells and whistles. It told the story of a married couple who agreed to have one night where they could each go out and hook up with someone. The film focused on just the 2 people and thats it. It really showed the emotions and hardships experienced by each of them as they watched the other go out and then come home the following day. There was nothing exciting about this one, it was all about the couple and their relationship and their feeling toward one another. You kind of need to be in a relaxed mood to watch this one. The acting was excellent and I was surprised to see Dax Shepard who is known for his comedic idiot roles pull of this type of character. If the premise interests you, check it out but if you married, don't get any ideas! lol.

It had a documentary feel to it. We turned it off before it was finished. Extremely boring.
