The Fortune Cookie (1966)

TV cameraman Harry Hinkle is injured while filming a football game. Seeing big dollar signs, his unscrupulous ambulance-chasing lawyer brother-in-law Willie Gingrich enters the picture, and convinces Harry to overstate his injuries and claim $1 million in pain and suffering. Harry's similarly-minded ex-wife suddenly reappears in an attempt to rekindle their relationship.

Billy Wilder, Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau - need I say more? It's not quite the genius of The Apartment or Some Like It Hot, but still a great movie! "Boom Boom" Jackson is about the most endearing character I can imagine.

I wish they colorized this movie, the black and white tone, seems to be one of very things hurting this movie. Otherwise, very funny, but a little drawn out.
