Small-town Pennsylvania schoolteacher Linda Sinclair balances her staid home life with an incredible passion for her subject. Then a former star pupil reenters her life after failing as a playwright in New York City. Like so many small films carrying the Tribeca Films label, this seriocomic farce has its moments, but fails to live up to the promise of a starry cast headed by Julianne Moore.

The film’s cutesy vibe is closer to "Glee" than "Election" or "Waiting for Guffman," with Nathan Lane’s exuberant drama teacher pitching several yards of camp tent.

I enjoyed the comedy & romance. Also appreciate how quickly actions can get blown out of proportion.. Glad that in this as tory th as t collaboration and common sense prevailed.

Cute, sweet, great acting. I love both Julianne Moore and Nathan Lane, so this was the perfect flick for me.
