Becoming Jane (2007)

I loved it, completely Jane Austen and I have heard people say.... they were trying too much to give it a Jane Austen feel but why wouldn't that be appropriate considering it is about her life and Life imitates Art. Don't like Anne Hathaway but she was not utterly annoying in this, but I do have to say that she was not Jane Austen, it was Anne Hathaway playing Jane Austen, unlike the movie Miss Austen Regrets, that actress embodied Jane Austen!

Oh this movie made me fall in love with James McAvoy. The look that he gives Jane when he kind of appears during one of the dance scenes just melted me. Anne Hathaway played a convincing Jane Austen and I really enjoyed how she portrayed her. But the story overall is somewhat sad because it shows that even though Jane could write about finding and being in love, she never found it on her own.

"Affection is desirable. Money is absolutely indispensable!" Good thing I don't have to live on their time, on their place and on their situation... The setting was brilliant and Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy were so beautiful together. I just wish I could change the ending.
