Really good movie. The acting in this is superb and the tension is fantastic. The story is very interesting and what a creepy and realistic take on Satan and how he can slither himself into peoples lives if they open up to it. If you are a horror fan watch it. Even if you aren't necessarily into horror like me you still may enjoy it. 80/100

[Pruitt Taylor Vince] knocks it out of the park in this movie. Just about every time he walked on frame he just gave me chills. He's such an unsettling presence in this film.

The setup is something we've seen hundreds of times before. What sets it apart from the pack is how it subverts genre tropes, it's filled with great performances, and simply how well-made it is. Pruitt Taylor Vince stands out in a disturbing role that carries a presence whenever he is on screen. The actors playing family members are also quite good. As bits of the horror puzzle are put into place the film develops the family into believable, relatable characters. This adds emotional weight to the narrative once the shit hits the fan. And really, it hits hard.This is an appropriately grungy-looking film to mesh with the overall story and the metal soundtrack. There are many shades of darkness in the cinematography mixed in a grainy seedy-ness. It exudes color when needed, mostly to prove its points or enhance the dread of a scene.

short but effectively haunting and violent enough shocking to see someone act on the devil's behalf and to feed him with children a man loses his wife and is declared legally insane; after some time passes a metal head painter and his family move into the same exact house things start to change when a unknown presence begins affecting this painter's mind and creative thinking his pieces stand out but it's painting more of a grisly fate for other people there's also several clues to people wearing shades of red, could they be advocates for the prince of darkness himself? the devil is hungry that's for sure a chilling vibe and a few grisly thrills make this a better-than-average horror flick
