I liked it especially for the sharp dialogue. The cast pulls it off! And I really liked C.D. in this one!

"The Counselor" is bleak, bleak, bleak for mainstream studio cinema, but does that really matter when a motion picture is as exquisitely helmed and stirringly envisioned as this one?

I enjoyed this film. And that's coming from someone who has the attention span of a goldfish when it comes to most films! I found the story line quite gripping and didn't know people's motives until towards the end and it all got messy. Diaz is evil! I do like psychologicals.

This movie seems like it could have been so much better. Great cast and character development. It seemed predictable at times and the ending could have been much better. Despite this it some how remained suspenseful and had funny moments provided by stories told by Javier Bardem
