This wasn't anywhere near as awesome as the first one. Really not even related, could have just been another named movie. I liked it ok.

POR LOS ACTOS INHUMANOS QUE HICE CONTRA UNA GRINGA CON MI AMIGO IVAN LOZANO SANTIAGO, (DROGAR, VIOLACION INTENTADA EN GRUPO, ESTAFAR........) ME ECHARON DE LA UNIVERSIDAD YA HACE RATO. ENTONCES MI NUEVA CARRERA ES ROBAR Y ATACAR A LAS TURISTAS DE VISITA EN CARTAGENA. EL POCO QUE TIENE COLOMBIA CON EL RESTO DEL MUNDO, DESTROZAMOS POCO A POCO.

Boo urns to this one. The first film was ok but this is just plain bad. An obvious low budget direct to video affair, it is filled with bad acting, terrible CGI and a story that wouldn't look good on paper let alone on screen. I'm not even sure how this film relates to the first film short of the fact that they mention the first film at the beginning with a voice over. Don't bother with this one.

I think the filmmakers have a basic misunderstanding of what psychics do and what they are capable of. They can't jump into other people's minds and have duels of wizardry with them. In trying to transform a completely unrelated spec script into a Cell sequel, they muddle things beyond repair. So it's no surprise the filmmakers run out of movie at about the one hour mark. The rest is tire spinning to get it up to feature length. A failed escape attempt by the kidnappee (which could have been cut entirely), 12 minutes of credits (I bullshit you not) and wildly inappropriate EPK footage inserted throughout the scroll. ... That is all.

Really bad, the first Cell was so great and was expecting good things with this one. The acting was bad and i really dont get why it had an R rating hardly any scary or gore scenes.
