I didn't read the book but I assume it was probably better. This was like The Secret mixed with the Da Vinci Code. Good idea but it was a bit low budget and slow.

Not quite as god as the books, but a good try, moving film, well made. Shame more people don't watch or read this, would foster a much better world if we tried to understand our energies..

The way to our Spiritual center is soft and gentle. This movie contradicts the standard Hollywood genres of violence and senselessness by taking the road less traveled. Forget the reviews and watch this movie for it's message; that you are a part of the larger whole and that you have an impact through your contributions to life. This is not New Age babble, but rather a 9 - step path of awakening and enlightenment. Some who have seen this film call the acting wooden, but I see it as actors portraying the parts of awe and wonder. If you have any kind of self-awareness and are on any sort of spiritual search, this movie is for you. If you're still asleep at the wheel, don't bother - you'll feel like someone who has not had enough sleep and is being rudely awakened before the alarm goes off.

amazing film. if you open your mind and understand the message they are trying to get across. really true, logical stuff for those of faith.
