As many say the book is hands down awsome! The movie itself is not as, but yet again, nothing is as good as a book.

I marked this movie as "I liked it" mainly for the subject matter and theories. Truth is the acting was weak and the story came off as cheesy. If I were not interested in the subject matter I probably wouldn't have finished it. It is a shame when stories with so much potential fall so short on film.

The movie to one of the most popular book franchises of the 1990s. Although the essence of the book isn't adequately conveyed in the confines of this film, it does give a look into the philosophy of the insights. Great locations,and the scent of adventure makes this a fun movie overall. That said, do read the book.

It would have been impossible to pack everything into the film that the book conveys, but it is beautifully shot and conveys the introductory message of the insights.
