Tod Lubitch is born with a deficient immune system. As such, he must spend the rest of his life in a completely sterile environment. His room is completely hermetically sealed against bacteria and virus, his food is specially prepared, and his only human contact comes in the form of gloved hands. Simple and smart, it doesn't spend to long on any one problem and the themes manage to continue in the background. There?s no annoying drama or senseless connections in the plot sequences. Toped of by two solid performances. Its dated and the word 'cheese' might spring to mind a lot but then again I think that?s because it is a product of its own era. Worth watching.

This movie was best highlighted by Molly Shannon's "Mary Catherine" while on SNL. It was actually better than in the movie. Maybe they should have gotten her instead of the lame-o's.
