Wonderful movie. In his grieving he was not only fulfilling a promise to his wife, but learning more about the things that mean the most.

On top of everything else, The Book of Love is an utter bore. No one will care whether Henry gets over the emotional loss of losing his wife or not, or if Millie gets to explore the sea

Mushy drama dealing with grief and friendship somewhat superficially, but manages to deliver a few very touching punches throughout its run. Timberlake's soundtrack does sound pretty but is used sometimes a little too prominently, telling you exactly how to feel at any given moment. A little more subtlety would have done the film some good, but the cast is pretty convincing. The plot misses a few pretty interesting chances for unexpected twists, but overall the result is still satisfying.
