It's like Escape from New York meets Priscilla Queen of the Desert... covered in dirt and feces.

Jason Momoa is shirtless for the whole film and Suki Waterhouse is gorgeous. It's slow, it's arthouse, and you'll have to suspend disbelief and lay back and enjoy the beautiful and weird story it's showing. Not for people who like fast stories and easy answers.... it's a bit thinky.

A scorchingly enervating and rather hypnotic journey from cannibalism to Comfort, a post-apocalyptic town whose benevolent dictator soothes with drugs, raves and a working photocopier. Bluntly satirical, this is a stunning but starkly brutal experience.

Though definitely not for mainstream tastes, Ana Lily Amirpour's bizarre, beautiful film feels like an arthouse movie from an earlier time, more of a dare than a comfort, more active than passive.

It's a love story and not a horror really and that's really kinda why I love this movie. With everything being so out play in the thriller/horror genre, with humans eating humans in movies and shows, I like that that wasn't the main focus of this movie, it had much deeper roots.
