Charlton Heston Returns To Egypt 24 Years After Filming The Ten Commandments To Make This Awful Horror Based On Bram Stoker's Jewel Of The Seven Stars.

I was in the mood for this and it is certainly not your typical horror film. A slow paced meandering film, the horror when it does come is brief and effective. It has a good atmosphere though and is enjoyable if you are in the right frame of mind. A tonic away from all the brash in your face CGI nonsense we get today. Heston is pretty good but as I noted the film is a bit all over the place and the ending is at best mediocre. If you fancy some Egyptian horror though at a leisurely pace this is for you.

decent "Omen" ripoff with charlton heston discovering a long lost tomb of an evil egyptian queen who is foretold to live again. when Heston`s daughter is born she is pronounced dead but all that changes the second her father opens the evil queens tomb. entertaining and surprisingly creepy some times.

it's an egyptian themed version of the omen. a poorer version too, but it has charlton heston in which makes up for it a bit
