I don't much care for panda bears or the plight of extinction they face. If the panda bear doesn't have the determination and drive it takes to survive in this world, then it'll get what's coming to it. That said, the bear in this movie really has some gumption. Now this is a real bear, not some bamboo-eating pussy. This is kind of like the Blood Diamond, except with pandas.

Great adventure movie. Very cute and heartwarming. I love the baby panda, he steals every scene he is in. I love how the panda cubs are so full of life. They are just adoreable. The is definitely a great family movie. It has a great message to it. Worth seeing.

We really didn't need another kid and his animal picture, but it seems we can't escape them. This one has a panda, and is sort of like Free Willy.

Harmless family fare might be deemed politically correct for its concern for endangered species, but whitewashing of Chinese regime will strike adults... as somewhat bizarre.

The Amazing Panda Adventure is a great film for the whole family. Ryan is a young boy whose father is stationed in Japan, working to help keep a panda reservation open. Ryan goes to visit his father and discovers that a mother panda and her son are in danger of poachers. After having gotten the mother, Ryan, his father, and some friends must stop the poachers and rescue the baby panda. This film is a heartwarming, family friendly movie, with adventure, laughs, and beautiful scenery mixed in. When I was a child, I actually remember really enjoying this and having rewatched it, was not disappointed.
