The movie is nice to watch even though Ryan Reynolds stick to the samey role. The first half of the movie is a big slow but it get better in the second half.

Perfect amount of cheesiness I'd say. A lot of the internal themes in this movie struck a chord with me and Ryan does a great job of quickly and subtly addressing the regret you feel as an adult when you finally realize the parent you once saw as superhuman, was often struggling just as bad as you.

a wholesome story with a good ending and well explained storyline. There are points where everything is well explained and easily understood and then there are things that are just being said without much context. Great cast that just fit the characters and their way of being. though a little predictable, it´s story makes up for it.

OMG total package burning my eyes excitement on a whole new level with this movie, it's just that kind of movie that keeps you glued to the screen you know that's the magic, can't really pin the moral behind the movie all i can say is it has that funny vibe to it and mothers always comes first above all i guess, anyways i enjoyed my self i really did.

This movie should first and foremost be considered a family movie. The action and Sci-fi comes in second hand and yes, if you are expecting an action packed movie or a mind blowing Sci-fi you might get disappointed. The story focuses on the family and the feelings is what makes this movie special. With Ryan Reynolds as main character you can also expect some typical Reynolds humour together with "young Adam" played by Walker Scobell (who makes an amazing perfomance). The different "generations" of Adam played by Reynolds and Scobell brings up a lot of emotions, with topics that many of us can relate to. Everything from the death of their dad to deal with the stories you have told yourself in order to explain things. You can expect both laughter and tears from this movie. I highly suggest to watch this together with the people you hold close.
