one of the best foriegn films ive ever seen, besides the girl with the dragon tattoo, danish and sewdish films are out standing...

This Danish film (which actually has most of it's dialogue in English), has a premise that seems to have a stamp on it that immediately says "Critic Friendly" . The film's story of an aging body builder's struggles with an overprotective mother could have resulted in a very disturbing film, but despite intense moments, Teddy Bear is overall a sweet, cuddly and at times a little too simple of a film. What is complex is Kim Kold's performance, with his red wood physique and empathetic performance being comparable to Mickey Rourke (or Matthias Schoenaerts in last year's Bullhead might be a better comparison). If it's not a must-see, it's certainly a must-talk-about.
