Tears of the Sun (2003)

Navy SEAL Lieutenant A.K. Intense movie. Violent and the subject matter is hard to take in. A well acted and very good movie overall though. Highly recommended to action/drama buffs.

Very powerful whihc combines good action, drama and thought together. Its an action movie with a heart. I also like how it cleverly shows that soldiers do have conciences and do protect civilians

Reading reviews after watching this years later, I can say with confidence, I don't know what these folks were smoking. In retrospect, this is a great film, hitting all the right notes? Racist? Not a chance. Stock Hollywood action? Nope. Reviewers, you need to work a lot harder-your job is too easy to begin with.

I am not going to talk about the actors or acting. I am for the worldview. The whole worldview was based on Morality and Ethics, Evil and Suffering and the Nature of Man. This movie could have be done better but they could not have gotten a better idea of the movie. looking at the critics view of the movie. They only think of a good movie with sex, drugs, drinking, no drama, mid-violence and queerer ideas is a good movie, like American Pie or Hangover or The Skeleton Key ect. Tears was not outstanding on the acting but it was on the story. This is based on true events of what's happening however, they should keep a little less on the hero but they did do a great ending. 1 Q. I have for the movie though. can't remember his name but I'll call him Soap. At the end, did he really died or did he lived? that is about one out of very very minimum false in that movie I don't like lol. Good movie. 4.2(3) in my eyes and thoughts. I do have an eye for movies. If you love war movies, this is one of them.
