Meet Spot, a clever little dog with big dreams of becoming a real boy. When Spot finds out that a crazy scientist can make his wish come true, he takes a cross-country trek with Leonard, his best friend and master, and their mom. A doggone hilarious cartoon extravaganza...virtually bursts at the seams with a supersized abundance of witty wordplay, silly songs and inspired sight gags.

Wacky! The animation isn't much to look at and is kind of freakish. The songs aren't very good either, and nothing about it resembles what you will usually see in a Disney movie. Having said that, it was a silly comedy that was unlike anything else I've seen. Definitely something I won't forget. I wouldn't watch it again though. (First and only viewing - January 2010)

Disney's marvelously quick-witted and gloriously goofy hand-drawn feature gets more laughs out of 74 minutes than many recent live-action comedies got out of much more time.
