After relocating his family - and his prized restored Sherman tank - to a small Georgia town, Sargeant Major Zack Carey butts heads with the local sheriff. Zack doesn't agree with the ways of the local police, and when the sheriff goes after Zack's son, it's time for Zack to roll out the Sherman tank and wage a little war of his own.

It's got a couple of very good scenes in it. Rather silly.

Initially, what got me to watch this flick was the poster campaign along with its taglines. "If you just want to hate, you can come up with all kinds of reasons." Despite what impressions you might make from those images (probably similar to my own), this film is actually a good old-fashioned story about people in middle-America. While I don't want to spoil anything, I will say that the tank is not the climax of this story...

Billed as a comedy, this is actually a cautionary tale of how the US county-sheriff system of law enforcement is prone to corruption, non-transparent, and impossible to hold accountable. Nobody listened, but they enjoyed the comedy.

I really like tis story and tat kind of value of people supporting each others, included wen many of them work together to pull that tank out from the thing and stuff.
