This movie did provide a dialogue on how so many people live, hand to mouth, but overall was very depressing. It was painful to watch.

Beautifully acted and although a realistic look at life in the worlds current economic climate the movie still leaves you inspired. Loved it.

Walter Addiego 14 Nov 2013

The film is merciless in showing the obstacles faced by a down-and-out couple in strip-mall Florida, but there's a modicum of hope in the genuine love the characters share.

Mike D'Angelo 14 Nov 2013

Sunlight Jr. is one no-hope bummer after another, and it’s just not psychologically or sociologically acute enough to make the experience worthwhile. Watching anyone over 30 working for minimum wage would achieve the same goal in about 15 minutes.

Susan Granger 30 Nov 2013

Sobering, depressing and tedious, filled with far too much unresolved adversity and overwhelming despair to be recommended as 'entertainment.'
