Streets of Fire (1984)

Raven Shaddock and his gang of merciless biker friends kidnap rock singer Ellen Aim. Ellen's former lover, soldier-for-hire Tom Cody, happens to be passing through town on a visit. In an attempt to save his star act, Ellen's manager hires Tom to rescue her. Along with a former soldier, they battle through dangerous cityscapes, determined to get Ellen back.

Absolutely love this film, would definately be in my top 10 of all time. Love the sound track,(great for driving to). Willem Dafoe is fab. A clasic!

This movie inspired FINAL FUCKING FIGHT! Willem Defoe in a leather smock wielding a sledgehammer, Rick Moranis playing a total sleaze, even Ed Begley Jr shows up as a homeless guy. In my America, this film is as popular as Grease and made more money than all of Star Warses. Tonight is what it means to be young, motherfuckers!

This film is an absolute visual treat, neon, stringy buildings, kissing in the rain, itï¿ 1/2(TM)s got it all! Donï¿ 1/2(TM)t listen to those dweebs pop pooing this masterpiece. Willem Dafoenin PVC overalls alone is worth the price of admission!

This is such a weird little number, a rock and roll fantasy that takes place in a world where the 50's and the 80's seem to exist side-by-side. A biker gang kidnaps Michael Pare's ex-girl, so he and her manager (Rick Moranis) and a sidekick (Amy Madigan) go travelling the mean night streets of anytown to rescue her. Any film that climaxes in a SLEDGEHAMMER FIGHT between Willem DaFoe and Michael pare' is a-okay in my books. A cult movie if there ever was one.
