The clumsy and unfunny clown Richard "Stitches" Grindle entertains at the 10th birthday party of little Tom, but the boy and his friends play a prank with Stitches, tying his shoelaces. Stitches slips, falls and dies. Six years later, Tom gives a birthday party for his friends at home, but Stitches revives to haunt the teenagers and revenge his death.

A truly inventive old-school horror/comedy that features some of the bloodiest and crazy awesome kills I've seen in some time.

Killer Clowns From Outer Space meets Carrie. Camp without laughs is not really camp at all. On the plus side, some original and disgusting deaths.....

The kills are inventive but Noble’s baggy trousered butcher is too sympathetic, and his teenage victims too generic for this to be in anyway scary.

if you're a fan of lower-budget, all-the-attention-is-given-to-gore, so-over-the-top-its-funny type of films, this one's pretty good. i liked the credits montage at the end too.
