Elsa and Clive, two young rebellious scientists, defy legal and ethical boundaries and forge ahead with a dangerous experiment: splicing together human and animal DNA to create a new organism. This was an absolute trainwreck of a movie. I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be horror, comedy, or some thought-provoking piece (which it clearly failed). The characters are supposed to be educated scientists but make the worst decisions I've ever witnessed. The main star of the movie, the creature, is awkward and cringy and it made me sorry for whatever actress was doing that part. If you want to watch it ironically as a "so bad its good" film then I would highly recommend. Otherwise just stay away.

The critics got this one TOTALLY wrong. Can't understand how it got good reviews. Dumb, dumb dumb! The audience was howling with laughter at serious scenes (not a good sign....).

Despite acting under the computer-generated encumbrances of that monkey tail and those centaur legs, Delphine Chanéac does something remarkable with Dren – she makes her a disturbingly sexy thing.
