Natalie Wood hails as a tremendous actress in this film of tortured love and overbearing parents. Again, it is a flick that deals with a small town's ideals including the repression of sexual confrontations. It is truly one of the greatest masterpieces filmed in the early 60's.

the electricity between natalie wood & warren beatty can be felt through the screen. this movie is not your typical romance, with psychosexual melodrama leading to heartbreak and madness. a thrilling combination!

Thoroughly enjoyed this film, although was disappointed with the end only because I'm a hopeless romantic who wanted them to get back together. Nathalie Wood is amazing in this film, she blows me away. Beatty is adorable. A love story that cuts deep.
