Making superhero films is tricky in the sense that you have to have that balance of fight scenes to make it enjoyable and enough character back story to really give that character some depth.

It's one of the best superhero movies after Ghost Rider and The Avengers. I love the plot and the movie itself is an instant classic. It's kind of cartoonish but cartoonish in a good way the fights are just great like the plot. It's been one of my favorite movies since I first saw it and it always will be. Toby McGuire is great as well. The acting's great so it makes it even better. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven't already.

12 years later... Still the best Spider-Man film to date. Visually stunning, emotionally engaging and ridiculously watchable.

I have seen it once, but how much I want to see it again is almost unreal! I liked the first part the most, when Peter is introduced as the school nerd. I just love how the plot goes towards the fact that Peter has proved all his bullies wrong by acquiring his powers in the first place. It's full of suspense, which I love; and I sorely hope that this film will be an intensive family favourite for years to come. :)
