For a "Netflix" movie it's really good. Great cast, great production values, good script with a strong plot. I found it very entertaining.

For a movie I have never heard of before, and as something I just played out of curiosity it managed to capture my attention throughout. I will happily stop watching a film if I do not feel vested in the plot. The first two acts of Spectral was very good in my opinion, the story had a gripping element, the acting was believable and not forced. The film clearly had a good budget and as a netflix movie goes I am happy with it. Though I a believe the movie was let down by the final act, suddenly it became all too Hollywood and unbelievable. Which lost a star for me. The action was well portrayed though I do feel the "villians" were not nearly scary enough! All in all a solid 3 star movie, keep it for that Saturday evening with little to do.

This is a good movie. The acting was very good and the effects were surprisingly effective. The story had its ups and downs but it was mostly ups.

A good, sci-fi war movie. It was entertaining throughout and had several moments that made me go "that was really cool". There are plenty of well-worn tropes in Spectral, but they're executed well. If you like movies like Dredd, Red Dawn, or Aliens, you'll probably enjoy this one too.

The hyper-rationalization of science and supernatural is pretty damn cool here. The initial invincibility of the ghosts was awesome too, even until the end. The script was damn good too! But the cliche execution of the middle and ending action sequences really fucks up the movie. Watch this because it's a cool movie, but notice that it gets dumb near the end.
