Batman Forever (1995)

Batman faces off against two foes: the schizophrenic, horribly scarred former District Attorney Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face, and the Riddler, a disgruntled ex-Wayne Enterprises inventor seeking revenge against his former employer by unleashing his brain-sucking weapon on Gotham City's residents. Why all the hate? Batman was great, The Riddler was funny in a crazy and scary way although I liked Tommy Lee Jones, I wanted to see Billy Dee Williams play Two-Face.

Batman Forever is the best movie ever made; with the exception of maybe the Fifth Element or Blade Runner or Kingdom of Heaven, Batman Forever is the one movie you can watch a million times and get something new every time you watch it. Honestly, however, I do not see why people hate on Batman & Robin for being the ultimate low of the original franchise, but spare this film the same criticism. It's just as over-the-top and campy, the acting is just as mediocre, the production conceptualization is just as misguided. Indeed, the only difference is that B&R is enjoyably, laughably bad, whereas this installment is just mediocre and bad.

My Dad took me and my brother to see this movie when I was six years old and I loved it. The only thing I like about this movie is because of Jim Carrey. He was one of the reasons why I went to see this movie. His performance as The Riddler is one of his best. I used to have action figures and t-shirts of The Riddler, and even dressed up like him for Halloween that year when I was in elementary school. That's about it.

One of Batman's coolest movies, Batman Forever has a great cast and wonderful scenes. If you forget the bat-nipples, Tommy Lee Jones excentric acting and that after this one, Schumacher made the bomb Batman & Robin, Batman Forever may be one of the best Batman movies.

It's a good film entretimiento , usually fall into the generic , but it is an acceptable place to enjoy an afternoon movie.
