it was a good movie but the fact that they only stood in da hotel n there wasnt much action it could of been better hopefully they do a 2 part of the movie n hopefully it be alot more action if they decide to make a 2 part

I think this movie was absolutely captivating, and epic. Most people don't realize the time and effort these actors and actresses put into making this extraordinary movie. I applaud the actors and actresses for doing the best the can to showcase this movie to the world. I cannot fathom how much criticism people can create based on how they feel things should be, but to those people I want to let them know that things will never go as they plan in life, they have to learn to deal with it. Thank you for this movie, and I hope to see a part 2.

I think most people missed the point of this movie. I was not expecting much from it after 20 minutes. The fact that it restarted after doing a days backstory, did not help its case. The special effects are just what people expect these days, and the dialogue was some of the worst I have heard in a long time. However... It is the differences that elevate this film. In real life there are few heroes. There are no last minute rescues, there is no reprieve from the nasty monster. I can hear all those people saying 'We watch to escape from reality!' Agreed. But it is the fantastical (aliens) mixed with the reality of the weak that lifts the film, and gives that escapism with a reality flavouring. Personally I could do without seeing another formulaic attempt at filmmaking. I have to say that most of the reviews here are shallow, derivative and with nothing original to say. Do try to find the good in whatever you do: It makes for a much nicer world.

I'm not entirely sure why this movie has scored so low. It's not great, but I was expecting something much, much worse. Apparently made on a mere $10 million, the budget was spent well. The effects lean closer to summer blockbuster than, say, what you'd see on a tv episode. The performances are also pretty solid and the concept, for sci-fi, is quite interesting.
