An ordinary boy named Michael is going through some extraordinary changes in his life. His family has just moved into an unfamiliar house, and his brand new baby sister has fallen ill. Not as magical as the trailer made it out to be. Beautifully filmed; however, the relationship between the characters was a little odd at times. The adaptation didn't really evoke any emotions within me.

Far too predictable family movie with angel and sick baby included. The are too many open gaps at the end, like the fact that we don't know where the winged man comes from or even what he is; the script really needs polishing to make the movie believable. The kids may have interest in it for the whole "new sibling" scenario, but in general adults have grown out of it.

I actually quite liked this movie. I guess you can say it had a nice story to it.

Based on a children's novel, this is a family friendly British TV movie with fantasy elements. It teaches the lesson that things are not always what they appear. It moves a bit slowly and doesn't explore the origins of Skellig, but overall it is enjoyable and has a satisfying ending. Decent.

A modern day twist of an Angel. An unlikely friendship built up on two lost souls, one trying to find his way back home and another trying to deal with life at a young age! Engaging to watch but not flawless. 25/12/2012
