SiREN never takes Bruckner's original idea and runs with it, failing to capitalize on a demonic romance that so many V/H/S fans demanded to see more of.

I thought this film was very well done. They took the best short from VHS and gave us so much more! The film even had a shot that was a fond memory of the short film version, and the characters they brought in around the bachelor party were great! The club owner was incredibly intriguing and his employees even had you curious! All in all, I thought it was a worthy film to honor a favorite short.

Bishop isn't afraid to leave the club behind, confidently expanding beyond the seedy premise to become a three-way chase among the bachelor party guys, the club management, and a ferocious supernatural force.
