Silver Streak (1976)

A somewhat daffy book editor on a rail trip from Los Angeles to Chicago thinks that he sees a murdered man thrown from the train. When he can find no one who will believe him, he starts doing some investigating of his own. But all that accomplishes is to get the killer after him.

Been soo long since i last saw this movie, but man i remember Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor had me dying in laughter. Its a great film.

Another one of those "I can't believe I've never seen it" movies that I ended up really enjoying. Jill Clayburgh was a pretty terrific actress, and Gene Wilder is always fun. Richard Prior creates great chemistry with Wilder in a supporting role. Plus, there is the always entertaining runaway train angle. :D

This movie is great. I first saw it when I was a little kid, you just can't get tired of it. It was meant to be sort of a send-up of Hitchcock's "North By Northwest," and it's great because the plot draws you in and Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor together are hilarious!
