yet another droll,depressing british film.drugs and violence and the constant use of obscene language fill 85mins-how i don't know. this film was a waste of money and talent.isn't it time that we look to cheer people up when we go to the cinema rather than producing evryday rubbish as this...i go to the cinema to escape reality...if i want to see this i can just walk down the street or just turn sky news on. i will not be recommending this film as i was kind of confused with what story line they were trying to put across.i think yes it was against drugs yet the idea and background of earning lots of money would at least for me seem to intise the young viewers that this film is aiming at rather than deter.

Good... but that's about it, unfortunately. Had higher hopes after the string of great reviews. It's funny, it's well acted and some terrific on-screen chemistry is portrayed by Mays and Ahmed, but it's story - although miles above that Danny Dyer drab - is unremarkable and one or two questions were left unanswered come the end. Still, having been made for just Â£100,000 you've got to give the rookie director and producer their props for banging out something as solid as this.

Creevy eschews the woozy, arthouse ambience of Duane Hopkins' Better Things - another portrait of a drug-decimated community - for naturalistic dialogue and performances within carefully framed and composed shots; properly cinematic, grown-up direction.

This film was made for Â£100,000. It's raw, it's honest, it's a bit depressing, but it's ultimately also hopeful and touching and a really interesting character driven story about friendship and trust.

Very effectively structured and layered, the realistic characters and some neat scripting make this low-budget British effort well worth a watch. Quality.
